FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Can abdominal massage be done during pregnancy?
In the method of visceral therapy that I trained in, only a gentle manual repositioning of the pelvis is allowed during the first trimester, and only if there is a rotation.
Does abdominal massage hurt?
The massage itself is painless and very gentle. If you feel discomfort somewhere, please tell me — I will ease the pressure but stay in that area, because the discomfort signals congestion. The discomfort will gradually fade.
How should I prepare for the massage?
You should come to any of my services on an empty stomach, with your last meal 1.5 hours before the session. Drinking warm water is allowed and even recommended, especially before the Romb Makosh alignment.
What are the contraindications for abdominal massage?
Cancer, osteoporosis, uterine fibroids larger than 5 cm.
What is the best way to undergo visceral therapy — as a course, or is a single session enough?
Ideally as a course of 10 massages, every 2–3 days. Visceral therapy, like any other, has a cumulative effect. Real changes happen gradually and over time. But you will feel relief already after a single session.
